Hiya,
Basically i am making a dock for my car, but i really need a cable dock extender that has a really small male plug end, or to find somewhere that sells a adapter connector that is a angled adapter. But im unsure of the type (name) of connector that is used on the ipod and iphones.

Its specifically designed for the iphone and/or ipod....so your looking for an iphone and/or ipod dock connector. Your probably only gonna find an actual cord, I have never seen just the part.
