You have to replace both the glass and digitizer as they're bonded to each other... you could try to chip the glass off the digitizer but it's next to impossible... I managed to do it just because it was spiderwebbed everywhere.

you're probably better off buying a new iphone-white 3gs 32gb on 4.0, black 3gs 16gb on 3.2, black 3g 16gb on 3.2 all on tmobile

do not i repeat do not atempt to remove glass from lcd its not wort hit i tried liike three times with every method even with chemicals ......its not worth it just buy a new screen with digitizer and lcd and glass attached yeah all three are connected or just get a new iphone

Check craigslist, if your here in Washington I've seen them actually for only 40$.Get streetwear for cheap here.
