car charger|question

does anyone know what this is?

They make chargers for other phones (adapters) that will plug into that port. They sell sets at best Buy (and I am sue plenty of other places) I actually just got the adapters for an old LG cell phone that my GF still uses so that I would have a compatible charger for my car. I will post a pic of it when i get home.
