The cheapest Dock around, and so dam good

So your looking for the cheapest dock that just plain sync the ipod with computer, well u needn't look further than the packaging and some tape.

This is a Homemade DIY Ipod touch dock, And ill show you mine, i might post a tut if many ppl are interested but i doubt it, the theory on this dock is simple and this isn't the first dock, but its the FIrst dock ive seen built using this method

didnt take me long (three hours) to do them both and you would need the casing from gen 1 itouch to do so, clik the pix, admire them and tell me what you think,

i even reinforced them so that they are solid and will take the pressure of the ipod being pushed down, this was a problem on many other docks i saw built on the net.

Cheers

Heh that is pretty sweet! Very innovative. I don't have my boxes anymore though. Maybe I could do it with wood instead.

Cheers for your support, and wooden ipod docks are not only very practical but also very easy. I found a few that i think are awesome...

Hm, are you just using a universal dock adapter? My 3G didn't come with one, it just came with the charger, usb cable, and headphones

Nice! I still have my iPhone box, as it was too nice to throw away. Most of the time though, the iPhone just gets dumped on whatever is available. At night I might have it on the table next to the bed or even on my pillow. :-) This morning I could not figure out what noise was in the room. Somehow I ended up with a continuing sound of the ocean waves. Slept good too.
