That's a problem that apple has decided not to fix. I had to 'upgrade' my headphones because the packins wouldn't stay in my ears...

get a pair of JVC marshmallows, i believe thats what they are called. they are $20 at wal mart. beast ear buds i have ever owned. they have foam ear plugs that you squeeze and then they expand in your ear and make a nice tight fit. they are very comfortable. good for flying and background noise because they are like foam ear plugs. best $20 i have ever spent. comes with extra foam pieces to in case you ever wear them out, but i have been using the same ones since i got them a year ago.

here is an Amazon link with some detailed info:

There's actualy "in ear addapters" that go over the ear buds and turns them into in ear headphones that stay in. I think the called earjams made my griffin . Google them.

The best solution is to make a plastic surgery to your ears, make them biger...
Dont forget to press thanks button...

Griffin Technology: EarJams

The solution to your problem as I stated above. They go on the existing iPhone/ iPod headphones no need to cut or modify it solder anything

Once again there called griffin earjams

(no I don't work for them nor have I ever used them or can atest to there actual quality)

Ive used them.
They suck.
They clip on to the headphones and like to pop off.
Not only that but they make the headphoens twice as heavy and bulky.

it's the slits where the headphones sit in which makes them pop out of some peoples ears. All my mates wear them with no probs at all, but my slits are wider so using them r a pain. I'm gonna try this mod tonight.
