Can anyone recommend a car dock?

I've never used something like this, so....
I'd like something cheap, that will charge my 3g, and play music?
anything in particular i should look at?
thanks

I have the Kensington LiquidAUX Deluxe kit. Not cheap, but it works for me. I like the steering wheel remote.

wow if you are willing to spend about 100 bucks why not just spend like 150 and get a new headunit that the ipod/phone plugs directly into? If you have steering wheel controls in your car it will even work with that.

Alpine makes some great decks if this interests you. But they are right... for 60 bucks you won;t get much better than a crappy FM tuner.

I have a Touchscreen DVD receiver with Multiple AV inputs, and the Belkin Tunecast has an audio output on the bottom of it, so it doesnt have to be used as an FM transmitter, it can be used with an AUX input. What I liked about it is how it holds the phone, it has a cradle made specifically for it, its not some adjustable thing, so I know its secure.

I solved this by plugging my aux in to the audio port on the iphone... sort of defeats the purpose of this contraption. I guess if you want something to hold and charge your phone for 90 bucks... but again you can just get a cable that plug right into even the touchscreen (obviously depending on brand) and you can control it right from the touch screen. The each his own I guess, but it seems to me you spent 90 bucks where 5 bucks would suffice.

I wanted something to hold it and charge it, also my receiver doesnt have iPod controls. I wasnt concerned about the price, and I wanted it for a next day trip, so I didnt have time to shop online for a better deal. Im happy with it
