Check out the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2. It boasts a pretty attractive package; 12 Universal Dock inserts, 10-hour battery, IR Remote & Carry along case.

UPDATE:

I just bought the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2. It works wonderfully with iPhone 3G. No nag, great sound, and the remote navs through the iPod

The onstage III (just recently released) is compatible with the iPhone without that message (airplane mode) as well
