The official 3G cases that fit/don't fit on the first gen iphone thread

I ordered the nu form iphone case from Griffin, this case is specifically targeted toward the iPhone 3G, but with the dimensions of the 3g iphone and the first gen iphone being so close, a couple centimeters shouldn't make much difference right?

Well I guess we'll see when the case arrives in a couple days. I'll post a pic and a tidbit about the fitting.

If you have a case that was targeted for the 3G and fits your first gen iphone, post a pic of it, and a little about how it fits and what to watch out for and what helps.

If we get this going it will be a lot of help for us first gen iphone users since most companies have stopped making first gen iphone cases and have switched to working with the demensions of the iphone 3g.

UPDATE
So the Griffin case came today (rather fast from eBay). I tried this on my first gen iphone and it fits! There is a small space from the top of the case to the top of the phone probably the width of a quarter, but thats it. I did notice that the top and bottom don't completely come together, but when I tried it on my friends iphone 3G, it didn't come together as well so I guess thats a design flaw. The hole for the camera is also a teeny bit off, but this doesn't affect the picture at all. No obstructions whatsoever.

VERDICT: The Griffin Nu Form case fits the first gen iphone, but you'll probably have to do some tweaking to get it to fit perfect, which is well worth it because the case is stylish and protective and easy to dock at night without taking the whole case off.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to make this case fit better? Help would be appreciated.

I put folded up tiny pieces of paper in the sides and the bottom seems more stable now.
