I can't figure out a better place to put this; sorry.
I checked the iControlPad site sometime last week to see if it had come out yet and was disappointed to see... no new updates since late july.
Then, I checked it just now and there was an update yesterday!

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know we are putting the final touches to the iControlPad, distributors will get an email at the end of this week with important information.
A video of the iPad in action will be posted at the weekend, along with some fantastic news regarding software.

The first half doesn't really have anything better than the last update, assuming you're not a distributor. However, the second half has two things:
1. the 'iPad' - great name! much easier to type too.
2. fantastic news? hmm. discuss.
I think this is unrealistic, but it would be cool if the iPad would let us control certain app store games via something talented developers might be able to do. I personally find it more difficult for some games to control using motion sensitivity than it would be with buttons (sometimes crash is harder to race with than Mario Kart Super Circuit was on GBA). There are also some games controlled with the touch screen that it might be nice to have a button alternative for.
This is gonna be cool when released.
