i have the first gen. iPhone running software version 2.0. my griffin Fm transmitter and charger for the iPod worked for the first few days. when first connected a message would pop up on the iPhone asking to switch to airplane mode to reduce static. after about a week of switching the software from 1.1.4 to 2.0, the message stopped popping up. it would make a connection sound and show that it was charging but no transmition of any sound. i returned the connector and tried 5 others, including one that said on the box," Made For iPod, Works With iPhone" Can anyone suggest a connector for my car that i could get. i dont want to hardwire it so please dont suggest that.
