[REVIEW] SwitchEasy Capsule for iPhone

This is a review of the SwitchEasy Capsule for iPhone. It retails for about $30 and is available from TRAX ATHLETICS.

My Initial Reaction:
I thought wow this is slim. The packaging is that crappy plastic that you cut yourself on...but this time around they've actually perforated the back so you just pull. Nice.
It comes with a headphone adapter, 3 separate screen protectors (non adhesive), a dock connector protector, universal dock adapter, and the case.

Inserting the iPhone:
The case splits in two and is held together with a spring loaded switch. Fit is tight, and after checking for scratches due to the case, found none. Without the screen protector, it's not a perfect snug fit. The chrome bezel is 99.9% covered without the screen protector.

After some use:
Simply FANTASTIC. it's slim, light, has a cool red logo on the back, all buttons accessible. HOWEVER,

There are some issues.
The screen protector sits off the face of the screen. Meaning, screen taps are not as responsive and it takes away from the overall user interface (easy fix...don't use the screen protector and use an adhesive based one like crystal). I'm going to try to cut the edges of the screen protector to see if that will help. the home button requires you place 3 rubber adhesive on the home button in order for it to work with the screen protector (these are provided, but you'll need to use three of them).

Overall:
Very nice case. I think it's only competition would be the Agent 18 Eco which is similar in price, style, and look. The Capsule comes loaded with extras which is nice...and with the use of a different adhesive based screen protector OR adjusting (ie. cutting) the included protectors...makes a perfect case.

Other notes:
No belt holster included...BUT you can ... guess what ... purchase this extra from the company.

I had one of these case the day of purchase of my iphone. I will tell you the problem of this case. If you dont use the crap screen guards that it comes with it will scratch the chrome ring on a brand new phone.

I purchased the contour v3 this weekend for the same price and it is much better quality and it comes with a belt clip.

I give the switcheasy case a 3 ot of 5.

I got an Incase Leather Clip case, so far very SATISFIED. 5/5, "smexy" looking.
