Are the ipod power adaptors compatible with the iPhone? or chargers which are sold on ebay eg:

I've read post where people have plugged in their iPhones into speaker docks etc and fried their phone, so a bit worried about getting non-Apple chargers.

I have a charger identical to that and it works fine
