although it may look cool, it is quite the process to install. look up some guides on here, i think theres a sticky on how to do it, but its really painful. i most likely would not do it.

but good luck tho if you try to it.

i did it, it was very painfull:P it took me almost 3 hours to complete the whole setup

I havent gotten to into the hardware modding, but there are some seriously cool things going on, i saw on engadget.com someone even got the apple to be backlit like on a macbook pro. its sick. I would love the black backing if i could find one that wasnt to expensive and i wasnt so scared of opening up the phone.

i bought one on ebay for about $34.00 and it was so easy to install! All you have to do is take of your camera volume bar vibrate switch and headphones input and it all just put right on the black case it took me about 30 minutes. Maybe it was easy for me because its not the 1st time I opened my iPhone I had to replace the LCD Digitizer not to long ago. But for $34.00 you cant go wrong its so sick lookn now!!!!

its time consuming, but very doable.. tip: get a magnetic tipped screwdriver and youll be fine.
