Just trying to find out which bluetooth headset is the best for a iphone that DOES NOT have a ear bud??? I can not stand having something in my ear hole, (never seems to hold not mattering what size I try or go in properly). Looking for a headset with just the loop that loops around the ear and has a flat speaker resting over ear lobe. Something thats not to statiky, minimizes the wind, voice quality is clear and loud, tight and comfortable around the ear. If anyone can post feed back would be greatly appreciated!!!
"for example the Motorola H350"?? (just a little speaker that rests on your ear..)
I finally get a reply...lol, so what kind of experience or feedback would you give in regards to this Jabra headset??? Interested to hear your thought's!!! Also if anyone one else can leave feedback for this thread would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks
If I could find the charger for it, I'd give you a better opinion, but from what I remember, it had the best signal range that I've tried so far, and the sound quality was fine (both sent and received)... I didn't get any of the "are you on one of those bloody headsets??" comments about my audio
Really good sound quality on the phones I had paired it with. But I have since switched to the Jabra JX10 because in comparison to the Motorola H300 pictured above, it is EXTREMELY light and barely noticeable. I also used to own an H350 exactly like the one you had provided a link for. Horrible, is the best way to describe it. People could barely hear me. Sound quality is totally terrible. I thought maybe my first H350 was defective so I took it back. Got another one and it's still the same. Sound quality is terrible. Avoid that particular headset if you can.
Do yourself a favor and buy a jawbone. I've had mine for a few months now, and it's NEVER dropped the link between the two... except when I turn it off or charge it. If you go out of range, the headset beeps at you to notify it's not seeing the phone anymore. When you come back in range, it quietly links to the phone like it was never gone.
Sound quality is excellent IMHO, and the people on the other end think you're in a padded room. No background noise, nothing.
When I turn the headset on, it automatically links to to iphone, and does what it was designed to do. Work.
looking for the same thing. I can't stand something in my ear! I found the Jabra bt800 but can't find anything else with noise cancelling that doesn't go into the ear. I've been looking online for days!!!! Anyone know of something else?
The Jabra Stone looks awesome but the Noise Assassin tech seems broken according to first impressions. I use a Jabra BT8020 which doesn't really go into your ear (requires the earhook). Absolutely NO standard earbuds fit my ears (not talking about in-ear earbuds) even when sitting down so I've never trusted those fitted headsets with no earhooks. They need to be really light anyway and I'd prefer battery life with a larger, weightier battery. The BT8010 does AVRCP, so it needs a bigger battery and it got one... along with a Caller ID display which, sadly, doesn't work right with the iPhone (works until you add the number to your iPhone's contact list).
