Its actually made out of carbon fiber material so it should be very durable. Ill update everyone when I actually get it.

I don't see that really helping in a fall. The corners are exposed, it will probably keep it from getting scratched, but that's about it. Hopefully it's finished better than it looks in that picture, carbon fiber is pretty abrasive.
