"Trash" app
Since on 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 you can "jiggle" and rearrange the icons, why cant there be a app devloped that you can drag programs that were downloaded from installer (games and things like that) .....Why isn't there a app where you can drag it directly into the "trash" box and delete it from there.. I would like to see a program like this if its possible let me know thanks!

Poof is kind of like that but you don't drag to it. You have to open Poof and edit it via that way.

hmm funny story actually i bought my phone in hong kong back in september and had done no research before bying it so when i got back the hotel to play with my new toy i found it strage that my "home screen" had a thing called installer i was trying to drag it around and stuff to find a bin to put it in (but in 1.0.2 you couldn't drag) i tried everything including going into setting reset all settings but i couldn't find how to delete it

thats such a good idea, like have a 5 icon dock, with a trash can being the fifth icon. then just drag stuff to it to uninstall...just like on a mac... awesome. someone please make it!!!

THat'd be cool. Couldn't we make it where it just executes a shell script to do the deleting for us? Something like the "rm -R" command but it would ask for confirmation? Or would it be more like a Mac OS appraoch where it first goes into a Trash folder (username/.trash) and then gives you the option to delete the files? THe biggest problem I'd see would be getting to have it tell Installer that the program is deleted/uninstalled and any support files the app may have had installed with it (like the Jiggy App and Runtime before they split up).

I think the trash can would be a great app

that would be cool if we could add back all the functionality that apple stripped to make OS X into a smaller package. Add an actual Finder where we could browse files and folders. Then we will have a true ultraportable!

Hey, I purchased the Caterpillar, but, I don't see anything like that?? I only see the options of calendar, reminder, smart dialer, facelift, privacy, and system font

Am I missing something? I have the unlimited purchase too!
