    iPhone can't play FLV's, only videos in H.264 format. That is why not all the videos that are on youtube show up on the youtube.app.

    YouTube are converting all their videos to H.264 not only for the iPhone, but because its a better format and higher quality.

    By the end of the year, most of the videos should be converted.

    hay guys! We are working on ARM Linux device at our company. We some how mannaged to compail flash player 6 for ARM Linux. and its working gr8 on device. If some one can make it to run on iPhone that would be gr8. I will provide you the player files if some one is ready to do that. It is a ipkg file for Linux. mail me to [email protected]

    This move was actually a step made by Adobe according to this blog:

    "A recent Adobe Flash Player 9 public beta featured H.264 video support, which seems part of its strategy to preserve the dominance of Flash video, especially as Apple and Google migrate towards this non-Flash based video standard."
