summerboard (OLD STYLE) with a twist =]
What if someone developed a new summerboard app for 1.1.3< that instead of scrolling sideways like the new iphone firmwares already do, it scrolls sideways and up and down. Think PS3 or PSP style summerboard. We could have webclips on the horizontal pages and 3rd party applications on the vertical ones. This would be extremely cool if the added that feature to the already promising summerboard

i have to admit, that would be cool to go sideways and up and down...

Why don't we just make it scroll in every freakin direction while we're at it... It super complicated to do that.

It wouldn't be all that hard to do, because firmwares 1.1.3 and up have their own side scrolling and don't depend on summerboard for any of that. All summerboard would have to do is scroll vertically.

I have been thinking about this for awhile, just didn't know how to word it. Great Idea. This would be awesome for page categories.

For your information I am a registered iPhone DEV. The old summerboard had the vertical scrolling capability so I'm sure they could implement it into the new version. Not to mention, if I had the decompiled app, I would take it upon myself to add the function. So don't go thread bashing.

So far you have not published any apps, how about showing us what you can do?
