i´m writing software on a win pc and like my new gadget -> the iphone.

so, it is possible to create native apps for the iphone on a windows device ?

which software (almost freeware) is needed ? (compiler, gui,... ) or link to the site.

Someone should really make a short 'how-to-get-started' guide for all the ambitious iPhone users how are more than ready to help developing 3'd party apps.

doesn't the iPhone dev wiki have a page on building the toolchain to compile apps? if you're looking for something like a GUI interface for building apps in windows i bet we're still a long way away from that

Nevermind, I found a search... but what is a GUI Interface? Is that only for Mac?

Someone made an unofficial SDK for 3rd party iPhone apps but, it only works with XCode at the moment http://www.iphoneatlas.com/2007/09/1...-applications/
