    Default Change Sounds for Voicemail, Calendar, New Mail
    Hi,

    Can someone create a hack so that we can change the sounds for these alerts? It's really pathetic that you can't change them in the first place. You can even adjust the volume of the keyboard clicks. On or off. Black or white. So ******* Apple.

    Here's what I think we need:

    - Ability to edit the volume for each different alert

    - Change audible alert for;
    • - Voice mail
      - New Mail
      - Sent Mail
      - Calendar Alerts
      - Lock Sounds
      - Keyboard Clicks

    What do you think?

    Ya, I want to be able to change the voicemail sound, new mail, keyboard clicks, etc.

    This is very elementary stuff that should have been a standard feature.

    Um, thanks?

    This thread is for the development of an application or hack to change the sounds mentioned above through "Sounds" section of Settings.

    almost anything can be done manually but the convenience is in a gui. point and click and it's done, point and click and it's back to normal. ssh isn't a valid answer
