Thread: Request for a Privacy App
02-09-2013, 04:06 PM #1Request for a Privacy App
I am wondering if knows or can come out with an app that offers two accounts when login. I hate people ask to use my phone then start going through my personal stuff. I need something that has a dummy password and when they login they can't see my personal info such as mail, SMS, contact info, photos and certain apps but they can use my phone.
I know protecti has something like this but it's not supported on ios 6. I also tried igotya but it doesn't hide my SMS.

Applocker allows you to lock specific apps and seems to work fine on my ip5. You can toggle it on or off with an sbsettings toggle if you want so you don't have to enter a password and it can even be set to not require a password on selected wifi networks. Another nice feature is that you can lock & unlock apps right from the springboard. It's a paid cydia tweak, but should do what you're looking for.

Thanks for the reply. I just noticed protecti now supports ios 6.1 so I am about to buy it.
It would be cool if someone could make an app like igotya but able to hide apps, SMS. How do I learn to build apps, what do I need?

There also used to be an app that created an entirely new iOS acct on your device. You could switch between the two whenever u wanted.
I'd have to find the name of the tweak, though
