FaceTime on the iPhone 3GS
Hi,
I recently upgraded to the iPhone 5 and would like to give my old 3GS to someone else. I’m trying to get FaceTime to work on the 3GS in the meantime and it appears the only app that allows this is Faceit-3GS. Can anyone confirm whether there were any other apps that allowed this function?
For those that have used Faceit-3GS, can you answer the following.
1. Are you able to make outgoing FaceTime calls on the 3GS or only receive incoming calls?
2. Will the app allow the rear camera to be used to transmit video during the call? I do realize there is no front facing camera on the 3GS.
3. Are there only certain versions of the iOS that worked with this app?
4. In general, how well did the app replicate the FaceTime function?
Thanks.
