Thread: Springboard screenshots

Would it be possible to create a tweak that creates a screenshot of you springboard and automatically saves it somewhere? It could possibly create one by accessing the IconSupportState.plist, any active winterboard themes and any wallpapers to generate an image and then save it.
Obviously I could just take a screenshot, but I'd love to be able to make a lockscreen which gave the impression of looking through it, into your springboard, and have this work automatically as part of a theme, without people having to mess around on iFile, SShHing, photoshop, etc.

None at all unfortunatly :/ Not sure if you're asking so you could help guide me through how to do it, or because the idea would be ridiculously hard to code? I'm guessing the latter though... I've no clue about coding, I just had the idea and thought I would share

Fair enough... I take it it's not worth the hassle then?

Sounds interesting, what is it? A cydia tweak?

Ok, I've had a bit of a google on it, and it looks a bit past my levels of expertise... Might have a play and see what I can learn when I'm finished working on my theme, one thing at a time (ish ) for now! Thanks for all the help though

Aah like the way a key logger application may also take a screenshot so admins can see what users do.
Getting this app would be great
