My question is, i have a laptop (windows) and computer (windows) are there any good tools for me to use on windows based systems to create apps for iphone/ipad/ipod?

Iv heard that its better to buy a mac and get xcode ect but id really love to be able to code on windows if there are any good tools for windows systems?

If I recall dual-booting is dangerous. You could always make a virtual machine in Windows. I personally develop using Theos which you write and compile apps on-device. But if I had the chance, I probably would've loved to use XCode which is on a Mac. But since I don't own one...oh well I guess lol.

You also have other options for Windows, but you have to hand over some cash to most(if not, all) of these alternatives, I also think the following SDKs are C++, not Obj-C:

    -Corona SDK
    -Marmalade SDK
    -Dragonfire SDK

    Actionscript:

    -Flash CS4

Good luck finding what best works for you!

    Thanks alot for the help!

I think I may do the virtual machine option but just to ask do you mean with theos you can write and compile on the iPhone itself? Also is the iPhone version of theos released yet?

    Thanks alot in advance

Well I've suggested Theos a lot on this forum. But with Theos you can write your Obj-C code and compile it on the device itself.
