simple snow app

i was looking to find someone willing to make a simple snow application to go with my winter theme for my phone.

i would like it to just have snowflakes fall from the top and disappear at the bottom of the screen. it should run over all applications just like the ants app does. this would probably be very similar to the xsnow application that can be found here: http://www.euronet.nl/~rja/Xsnow/

i was trying to do this myself but i am totally lost. is anyone willing to help me make this app or simply make it for me? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried emailing the creator of Ants? Maybe offering a small sum of cash?

you know what would be cool, along these lines, is a snow globe app, that lays snow down, and if you shake the iphone it would blow around for a bit then fall to the down position of the iphone. it could also lay some snow on your icons, that would be neat.

i have been in contact with the creator of ants.app, gabe schine. he would be willing to make an application like this if we could work up a donation of $50-100. if anyone is interested in working something out please let me know. we have been working on a few ideas as to how the app would work already.

Here's another idea for an app along the same lines: integrate the snowflake idea with the weather app. So, when it snows, snowflakes on the screen. When it rains, rain. Etc. You get the point.

This is a pretty sick idea, how is everyone going to arrange the donations? I would be willing to donate for this one because I love the snow, been skiing since I was 4! The globe idea is badass.

Let me know on the details, I'll put $20 on it prob.. just because I know how hard these programmers work for nothing.. I get paid $35 an hour just to look at someones computer and see why they put the wrong WEP key in haha.. They deserve better

ModMyI should have a section where we can post ideas and if a programmer thinks he can do it, he takes on the job and people can start donating. When the donation reaches 1-200$ (depending on how complicated the job is) the programmer starts programming the app. I think that would speed up the app development and we would get alot of new cool apps!
