change lock button?

So I got some water damage to my ipod and now the lock button doesn't work and the volume button is stuck in the lower position. I found an app to disable the volume button so I can manually change it on the touch screen. I need something to be able to lock/unlock my device though. I had to disable the autolock because there is no way to unlock it once it locks, this kills the battery though.

I couldn't really find a solution and I have never jailbroken my ipod until today in order to fix this problem. If anyone knows what to do I would really appreciate it.
