    I am also interested in seeing if anything is currently in the works, or if there is an alternative to NoAccessorySplash.

    It's in the works, jacknorris is developing this so another week or so
    Get the latest info for NoAccSplash Here
    Currently it should work on iOS 5.1
    If you'd like to help extend its functionality, the source is also available.
