    Default need sms logging app to monitor my child's phone
    Does anyone know of a good sms logger that works without jailbreaking the phone?

    log app without jailbreaking, until now I don't know any in market. Why don't try to jailbreak your child's iphone, it's easier and there many log apps support jailbreak iphone, flexispy (many features but with high price), mobilespy... but if you want track only SMS I suggest omegaspy, a newborn app but quite good with acceptable price (only from 4,99$), invisible, and you can adjust setting or removing remotely too. They offer GPS tracking for free also, it's very useful in helping you keep an eye on where your child usually been and like to visit. Good luck

    I have jailbroken my daughter's iPhone 4, installed Mobile Spy and can see lots of the activity from the phone, but she is now using an anonymous text ap, so the software won't see the text messages, which is most important to me.

    Any ideas?

    As a teen myself, I find these tactics extremely invasive and if my parents did this to me it would only ruin the relationship I have with them even greater. I do not advise putting your child under 24 hour watch.

    I'm a parent and would not recommend that either

    Why not just call the carrier of your kid's phone? They'll happily invade their privacy for you. Seriously, some carriers keep a log of SMS though.

    I find it wrong that people do this, but that's just opinion I guess. Think back to when you were a kid (Even though cell phones didn't even exist) Think about this: Did you want your parents in your business all the time? Their texts aren't really anyone elses business except their own. I understand what you mean by you're trying to protect your child but seriously, they will tell you if something is wrong. This is opinion though. +1 to @zerolimit and @Leondreux as far as I'm concerned on the SMS logging apps, you'd have to get them from Cydia. Otherwise there really are none out there.

    You can use ibackupbot. Wouldn't have to do anything but dock and sync the phone to a computer. No software or anything else. Can see all pictures, call records and everything else too. I understand the idea as a parent just Don't think I'd use it.

    If I was being tracked and I knew it, I would lose respect for the tracker(if I knew them). If I was also jailbroken, I'd also use that ability against the tracker. (Remove the offending package and install some that prevent this.) Pretty much if you get caught by your kid, there will be no trust.

    Between you<->your kid.

    Honestly.... if you don't trust your kid...... TAKE THEIR PHONE AWAY....

    Or fix the trust issues and don't spy on your own kids
