Bluetooth On/Off Button
Surely someone has requested this one before or maybe it's even available somewhere.
How about an on/off button for bluetooth on the home screen or even the dock?
I use bluetooth while driving and it's such a pain to go to settings/general/bluetooth to turn it on and off.
How great would it be to tap a button and it's ON and tap again and it's OFF?

BossPrefs or NetServices.

Bluetooth on/off
I've seen the bossprefs app and can't find anything called netservices.
The bossprefs app still isn't what I'm looking for because you still have to run the app and use the slider to turn bluetooth on/off.
I'm looking for 1 button that could be placed on the home screen of the dock. 1 button that will toggle bluetooth on/off.

unzip it make sure you have openSSH installed on the iphone, then install winscp for windows or cyberduck for a mac and then use winscp to drag the .app folder to the applications folder on the iphone side

Unfortunately this doesn't work for me on 1.1.4. The app loads but sits there for about a minute, then goes back to the home screen without toggling BT as intended. Any ideas?
EDIT:
Nevermind. For some reason the executable wasn't set to be executable. Did a chmod +x on it and it started working properly.Last edited by blairb666; 04-14-2008 at 01:43 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I just tried to install this app on my iPhone. I'm new also, when it comes to Mac. I use a PC with iTunes to sync my iPhone 3G. I dragged the app folder to my applications folder in iTunes with no problem. It showed up correctly in iTunes. But when I sync with my iPhone, I get an error that says "The application "SwapBT" was not installed on the iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000001).

Yeah I finally got a working dev environment for 2.0 and updated it.
Wasn't really much of a rush as to be honest I've never had any thanks for it. I only started working on the 2.0 version when I got the 1st ever donation
