Thread: GameBoy Emulator

could use the volume as l and r

I mean... If you hold it horizontal while playing a gba game, theres definitely going to be some extra space in the top left and right corners for a l and r "button".. But yea the volume key would be cool... Maybe for a game like pokemon, where you really only need "l", you could map the volume keys to just l... Or for games that primarily use r, you could use just r....

Or maybe that idea sucks because if you're going to use the volume keys as buttons then you might as well map both of them....>_>

there isnt a reason why the old gameboy games cant work, they have a d-pad, a&b buttons, and start and select...im sure the Pokemon Red games arent that much more complicated then Mario Bros. 3

someone should do a sick as hack and replace the iPhones CPU with a psp CPU. Then get a Linux os instead of the iPhone mac os x (Linux is lighter). Then we could emulate everything up to a ps1. Psp wouldn't work due to graphics.

    Hahahahaha..... Just kidding.

    Pokemon would be awsome, though!
Why not a PS2 emulator, Im sure the iPhone is strong enough for that.

I think anything more than SNES/GBA would drain the hell out of the battery.

an emulator for any console a generation after the NES would be cool. I installed the NES but got tired of the crude graphics after awhile.

lol me too, my favorite was in pokemon yellow where pikachu would follow you and you could turn around, press A, he would go "pika" and you could see what mood he was in at the time
