    Default Camera Controller?
    I'm trying to develop a program uses iPhone's Camera.
    I tried to follow the source code of "Squidge" but whenever I put in Camera related codes, my application launched via ssh on iPhone returns "bus error".

    At this stage I just need to control the camera feature.
    (Pirate App's camera snap looks good to me)

    Could you give me some guidance to use iPhone's camera in correct way?

    I got the answer. It was thanks to the optimization option.
    After I turned off the option, now things working fine.

    Hi there!

    Do you have a source example of how to control the camara? I've been trying for a while and it does not work. I have tried a couple of things:

    * Instantiate CamaraControler and to render the UIView *_previewView; into a window
    * Instantiate CamaraView and put on a window to see it

    I am afraid I am a little newbie in this iphone/mac development thing, so a piece of code will really help.

    thats cause camara is actually spelled camera.

    Sorry for that! Of course I wrote "camera" on my program, so that was not the problem.

    Well, I finally got CameraView working, but it has been a long night.... and it has a strange behavior. Anyway I really think I am doing something wrong, so if anyone can put an example of how to use the camara, it will be great.
    If not, I will put mine when finish...

    Any luck Kalman? I'm too trying to get the camera displaying. I've been following squidge's example, but so far no luck on my end.

    Yes... some luck, but not completely successful!
    Can I have a copy of the squidge code? please?

    What I have now in the applicationDidFinishLaunching function is

    where AccView is a empty View with nothing.... I do not understand why I have to put this "view" under the camera... but otherwise it does not work.

    please implement 2 important features: self timer and autoshoot after a fixed interval.Would make the camera much more useful.
