I think repo owners should start penalizing developers that fail to update their apps. Might add a little "incentive".

Bluetooth is a **** protocol, and I don't blame Apple for wanting to phase it out, but surely it wouldn't have been too much work to include it just for the sake of compatibility?

the reason apple didn't include this or any other app that accesses the file system is to protect their real business, 'selling media content' in itunes.

I don't see how it "protects" anything. It's not like they couldn't easily block off content you'd purchased from the store; as it is now, you can't even send pictures.
