swype keyboard mod?

Im searching for swype and Im seeing alot of swype keyboard download links that are used for installing new swype keyboards to droid, htc, etc. Im in no way a dev but would there be any way to take one of these downloads, unzip and mod the file in order to work with the iphone 4 software? Ive seen people on here do things and make things that I have on my phone and didnt think could be done so surely someone would and could do this. I would pay for this and Im sure others would pay too if it could be done.

Agreed. I would LOVE Swype for an iPhone (3GS for me). Could there be anyone that could help?

I just purchased the shapewriter so I'm going to search and search until I find something that shows me how to mod and I'm going to see if it can be done because I want this as a default keyboard
