Default Download straight to Videos/Music folder on iPhone

Maybe somebody should make an app that allows you to download straight to your music or videos folder. Even a transfer to that folder so it shows up when you go into "Videos". Is there an app like this?

I just am sick of iTunes, something always disappears when I try and synce a show or movie.

Pwntunes is what you are looking for. It costs money, but basically turns your phone into a usb stick, allowing your computer direct access to your music. I haven't tested it myself, but i believe it does videos, too.

Mewseek used to do this. The problem is that there wasn't much it could do to prevent the songs from being wiped the next time the phone was synchronized with iTunes.

Preventing this would probably require patching the desktop version of iTunes and modifying the sync process, which wouldn't be easy.

I'm not sure exactly how pwntunes gets around this issue, but I'm almost certain it involves keeping a second copy of your files on the device which then have to be copied back to the music library after every sync.

Any chance iTunes transfers these songs back as "purchases"?
