Default Anyone gonna make a yourtube for the new Youtube web app?

Because right it's the only thing keeping me from upgrading to the new app despite the interface and quality improvements.

Why would you want one for the mobile app? What would be an advantage?

What do you mean? How is the ability to save videos not an advantage?

I mean what is the advantage of making a yourtube for the mobile YouTube app when there is already a more than sufficient yourtube for the YouTube native iPhone app?

If you figure out the formats of the mobile YouTube app videos and add them to Safari Download Managers file extension library you might be able to use SDM then.

But like I said, there is already a great YouTube downloader in yourtube for the native iPhone app... Why do we need another one?

Guess we don't, really. My main reason for asking is that I'm hearing that the new mobile app has much better quality over 3G.

You're right it does have better quality when streaming over 3G. But you can choose to download the high quality version in yourtube over 3G.

Do you have Safari Download Manager? Have you tried adding some different video formats in the file extension library? I'm gonna try in a few and see what I can do.

EDIT: You're right, SDM doesn't work. We need to figure out how to get it to work. Find out what extension to add I guess.
