Changing Icons w/o changing background

Is there a way where I can download a theme and use the icons, but not have the background changed? Currently I have my picture as a background with apple's icons. I love some of the icons that come with themes, but don't want to give up my current picture.

of course but only if your phone is jailbroken. after you load the theme, download and install iPhoneBrowser. Navigate to your /system/library/themes folder and replace the theme wallpaper with your wallpaper.

Thanks, but of course I had trouble. I tried downloading iphone browser on my mac, but nothing happened when I opened it. Is there any way of doing this without using comp?
