App as background
An app that let's an app run AS the background so that you can interact with it.

u mean on ur homescreen theres an app and u can use the app and the homescreen?

Well... ur dock and icons would be in the way for one thing. Its probably possible, but memory intensive. Would be a lot easier if it was making itself run in the background, like an app with a calender, cause a mobile substrate thing could probably do that. To make a plugin to run ANY app would be a bit trickier ><
