A better way to unlock idea???

I was just thinking yesterday that i hate entering in a 4-digit passcode to unlock my phone. Anyone know of an extension or substrate that allows you to unlock the phone with a user configured home button sequence? for example, you press the home button 3 times in a row, then wait about a half second, and hit the home button 2 times and then it unlocks...this way you could unlock your phone without even looking at the screen...and the user could change this pattern anyway he/she would like. anyone get what im saying?

Won't really work cause on the lock screen if you hit the home button twice the iPod app opens.
