Anyone know how much battery life is sucked up by the advanced graphics of opening and closing apps, scrolling through lists, and all the other iPhone-like GUI? Has anyone ever seen a hack that would supress this behavior and, for example, just take you to a new app's splash page and not have the icons on the springboard all go flying off the screen?
