an app that receives the IM the moment the other person IMs you even if your phone is on sleep or w/e.

Does Beejive do that also?

aim is included so try it

IM+ is by far the best and allows push and connection to chat with AOL MSN Google Twitter Facebook and more

I disagree, Beejive definitely has the cleanest, most iPhone-like interface, supports a wide range of services, and has features you can't find on other IM clients, like landscape typing, image send/receive, and chat export to email.

but the beejiveim from the install(ous) doesn't work. i get some license key pop up.

That's a security feature to keep people from stealing their software. God forbid someone actually asks you to pay $10 for a polished piece of code.

aim does it with push, it even sends texts to your phone the same second if you set it up
