FB Iphone chat not working properly...can anyone help me?

Hello everyone. Could someone tell me why the FB online chat on my new iPhone won't work. I can leave messages to others , but they can not respond back to me. My friends tell me that it does not show I'm online when I am. I am aware of manually going online there in the app. When I'm in the app it does say that I am online but apparently I am not...PLEASE can someone help me? I have uploaded the newest version of FB too. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, but still nothing....any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance!

does your iphone firmware show 3.1.2? if not, you probably can still update facebook, you just need 3.1.2 firmwarwe. The older version was really buggy. Is this your facebook? its the old version

Im glad its not just me,

Im having issues receiving Facebook chat on IM+ now? Mine has stopped working entirely however I can still send messages.
I dont know if this is a new incompatibility with the latest facebook update as facebook now constantly leaves you logged in for Push Messages?
I have tried logging out of Facebook to see if it fixes it but no luck there.
I have also tried EBuddy and that works fine?
So at the mo I have to use Ebuddy and its awful! :-( Any ideas please?
