Texts Unread
Can someone make a mod to keep texts marked as unread (suppose that's the word) when you press the Close button? If I'm in the middle of doing something and someone texts me, I'll immediately close it and continue with what I was doing. Sometimes I'll forget someone text me, because the text was marked as read. I have StatusNotifier which would remind me I have a new text.
So can someone create a mod to, I guess, stop the texts from being marked as read when you press "Close" or tell me the name of the app if there's already one out? Thanks.Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?

Doesn't matter if I read it or not though, because I still have to remember to reply to it later.

Well, there isn't one particular mod to do this, but biteSMS has a feature that might be what you're looking for. When the Quick Reply box comes up, there is a little blue circle next to the text. Tap it, and it will become solid blue and stay "unread." Leave it hollow and it will be marked as read when you reply or close it.
I doubt you're looking for a full-fledged Messages replacement though. Idk, I love biteSMS.

Nah. I want this to hold me over until iRealSMS 3.0 comes out. I don't want to use/pay for another SMS app when I already bought iRealSMS twice.

Do developers actually search this forum for ideas? Can I ever expect to see this mod?
