Lock Calendar Hack

Hello I'm looking for a very simple edit/hack to an existing app.

Lock Calendar allows you to show upcoming calendar appointments on your lockscreen. Love it so far, but I only use it to show the appointments for the upcoming day. Because of this, the header for the date is redundant, but there's no option to remove the date header.

I'm looking for a way to remove the date header text, or edit the opacity on the date header text. Thank you!

Well, I don't know about hacking Lock Calendar, but I'm pretty sure you can kill the date right below the big clock on the lock screen. I just don't know how.

The developer is easy to reach (talked to him before)--his email is posted on Cydia's Lock Calendar thread, and you could always shoot him an email and request the feature and maybe donate.
