Assigning SMS tones to specific contacts
I know this has been discussed before, just wondering with 3.1.2 out are we any closer?
It would be great to assign a SMS tone per contact, like you can do with ringtones. I really don't know why Apple hasn't done this a long time ago......I guess now up to 3rd party people ??
any ideas?

Seems that RingtoneStudio 2 can do it.
I didn't try it...

I searched around a bit more for the actual app you mentioned here. This is a ringtone creation program, and not an app that uses separate SMS tones for each contact, which it seems the OP was referring to.
