Just thought of a great idea.. I searched it and found one thread from two years ago that seems like it died. What about an app that opens up a screen before your text messages app opens that allows you to lock your text messages. Most phones have this feature built in, but iphones can just lock in the lockscreen. It would be a bit of an inconvenience to have to open up a different app to use text messages, though this would be better than not having locked texts at all. Any comments?

Look on Cydia for Lockdown, iProtect or mAdvlock. They all do what you are looking for and more.
