Option to disable screen lock entirely

I understand why the screen lock is important to most people but I find it very annoying. I would like to be able to disable it entirely. I turn my phone on and off a lot and it would be great to be able to go directly to the program instead of the lock screen.

i think the best u can do is get a tap to unlock theme for winterboard. the lock screen is there so u dont accidentally turn it on in your pocket

i had an app from cydia that did just that, but lost it when i upgraded to 3.0 and i've been trying to remember that name of it ever since! i miss it. i use my phone at home, plugged in, as a tiny computer. i turn it off when i go out because i don't need to be always connected. but alas, i can't find it now anywhere, nor can i recall the name. it was incredibly handy.
