Edge App or mobile substrate

I am currently running a 3.0 first gen jail broken iphone

jailbroke mainly because i didnt want to pay for data plan

However, I miss MMS. There are certain 3rd party apps that allow you to send MMS wiht edge...however, leaving edge on at all times is very costly for someone like me.

It would be great if there was an app or substrate that allowed you to turn on edge to certain apps, and off to others...

i.e.
off for safari
on for Swirly

SBSettings can turn edge off. Might work for you. Of coarse you would have to manually do it when edge is not needed..

You shouldn't need data for mms, just the right messaging plan.
