Pocket MSN for iPhone (hotmail/msn messenger)

I have been reading about all the problems that people have wanting to get hotmail on their iPhone. There are a few solutions out there that sorta work.
I used to have a Windows mobile device that had Pocket MSN on it. Would it be possible to create a clone of that program that ran on iPhone?

I don't have the programming knowledge to do this but I thought I would through the idea out there for someone to pounce on.

That's because MobileChat currently doesn't support MSN or ICQ.

He wasnt talking about the messenger, he was talking about being able to add a hotmail email account in 'email'

Edit: ok i guess he was ALSO talking about the messenger, but we still cant use hotmail email (wich is because they dont support pop3 anymore)

The easiest option is through Izymail. Works like a charm.

did you apply the patch for it? it should work. works fine for me in 1.1.4.

what patch cause i tried to use my msn account and it doesnt seem to work...i am on 1.1.2

i used mobile chat for my msn and it worked fine but appolo looks nicer..apollo wont work with my msn what is the patch to fix it?

I use gmail to forward all my hotmail emails and when I reply through gmail it forward the through hotmail. So the recieve does not even know I have gmail address

how can you setup that auto forward from hotmail? ive been searching for ways to do it but have not figured out a way...

i tried the enabling text messages or whatever, but that didnt work for me, any help would be appreciated

I installed Apollo from the installer including the BSD. Didn't work and then I stumbled upon the tweat that said 'IM Chat 1.1.3' but it still doesn't work for me.

I tried to install mobilechat but every time i try to install it from the installer it doesn't work and says, 'package download' failed!

Can anyone help me to fix that apollo thing? or suggest an alternative msn service?

I read from the hotmail website saying they can forwarding the mail to other email accounts but once they forwarded it, the original mail in the hotmail will be deleted. Anybody tried this?
