I don't know if it would be possible, but it would be great if I was able to free up more memory while I was in any app as opposed to having to open up memtool to do it.

I don't really understand your thinking. Clear the memory before you open an app. Opening an app then clearing the memory seems a bit backwards

Well its for things that run in the background so it doesnt destroy my battery life as much

he just wants a FASTER alternative to memtool.

it doesnt make sense to open an app then clear the memory.
