default mail app to main mail accounts screen when opening?

everytime we check our mail and go to the new inbox, new email, etc and then close it, we have to back out all the way to the mail screen

everytime we check our mail and go to the new inbox, new email, etc and then close it, we have to back out all the way to the mail screen to see which account has new mail right?

how about an app the lets you open the mail app and the first screen is always defaulted to the mail accounts page. this way we dont have to back out all the way to see which is new and then go in that way.

i think everyone would appreciate this app.
